SocialSafeZone app’s goal is to exploit the technology and hardware that already exist in our smartphones to help people and companies remember and apply the rules of prevention.
Through audio and/or vibration warnings, our app signals people when they are in risky situations such as absence of social distancing, crowded areas, prolonged close contact, presence of several people in the same vehicle for a long time, etc. Here you can find a list of the app’s various features.

Compared to other applications, our aim is prevention, not tracking contagions. This allows us to protect people’s privacy as we don’t need to share users’ data.

We are following very closely the evolution of DP-3T technology (Decentralized Privacy-Preserving Proximity Tracing) in order to take into consideration a possible implementation of the latter. It would be, in any case, a separate feature that can be activated by the user, if he wishes to do so.
